Your role

If you work the front desk

Front Desk is built for you, on a phone: today’s classes, who is booked, and the one thing worth saying to each person.

Your day runs on four boards, and Front Desk is the one you keep open. There are no money numbers in your view and no approvals: the desk is where people are greeted, checked in and followed up.

Your shift

  1. Open Front Desk. Classes go live 30 minutes before they start.
  2. Read the flags beside each name: a first-timer to welcome, an intro about to end, a pack running low, a card that failed, a milestone to celebrate.
  3. When you have handled one, tap done?. Nothing is sent to the member; it records that a person dealt with it.
  4. Check people in with check in, then confirm?. It is the one action in Xyzios that writes to your booking platform, and undo? takes it back.
  5. Tick the opening and closing checklists as you go.

Between classes

  • Sales Desk: your location’s call sheets. Tap a name for the person’s story, then call or text with The play as your opener.
  • Members: look anyone up by name or email.
  • At Risk: members whose rhythm has slipped. Tap Handled after you have spoken to someone, so nobody calls them twice.

Xyzi help

The top bar reads Xyzi help for you. Ask it how to do something in the app: check someone in, undo a check-in, what a board means. It answers from these guides and will not discuss the studio’s numbers. If no guide covers the question, it offers to send it to Xyzios support, and sends nothing until you say yes.

Instructors

An instructor opens the Front Desk board and nothing else: the roster for their classes, the flags and the check-in.
