What this board answers
How every part of Xyzios works, written for the access you hold. Each board you can open has a guide with the same four sections: what the board answers, how to read it, what to do there, and the questions people ask most.
How to read it
- The 1tabs across the top group the guides the way the rail groups the boards: Getting started, Day to day, Departments, Tools, Manage.
- The 2list on the left is the guides in the open tab. Pick one and it opens on the right.
- The 3search box searches every guide you can see, titles and text, and ignores the tabs while you type. Clear it to go back to browsing.
- Open at the bottom of a guide takes you to that board. It appears only for boards you can open.
You do not have to come here to read a guide. Open your account menu in the top bar and choose Board guide: the same guide opens in a side panel, so you can read and work at the same time.
What to do here
- New to Xyzios? Read How Xyzios works, then Roles and access, then the guide for the board you will use most.
- Stuck on a board? Open its guide from your account menu, or search here for the word on the screen you are looking at.
- Still stuck? ✦ Ask Xyzi in the top bar, or the button at the foot of any guide. Owners and managers can ask about their numbers as well; front desk and instructors get help with the app only.
- When Xyzi cannot answer from the guides, it offers to send your question to Xyzios support. It sends nothing until you say yes, and the reply comes to the email you sign in with.
Common questions
A board I use has no guide in the list.
The list shows guides for the boards your access opens. If the board is in your rail, refresh; if it is not, the guide is not yours to see either.
Can I print a guide?
Use your browser’s print on the Help board; the open guide prints on its own.
Who writes these?
Xyzios does. They change when the app changes, so a guide never describes a screen you do not have.
I found a mistake in a guide.
Tell Xyzi, or choose Report an issue in your account menu or at the foot of any guide. Both reach the same queue.
