Steps
- Open Targets in the rail, or tap the Overview’s To hit plan card.
- In Set the goals, pick a rule: Seasonal run-rate, Trailing 90-day average, Same month last year, Last month, Calculated growth — fit my own trend or Match actual — no goal was set. The line under the picker says what the rule does.
- Set the growth %. It dims for the two rules that ignore it.
- Tick also fill months already closed if you want this year’s past months planned too, so year to date has something to compare against.
- Press Set goals for the year.
What you see
“Working out goals…”, then a line saying how many goals were set and how many were left alone. The Overview’s card then shows what you need to sell each day, or target met.
Set one month by hand
Click a month’s goal, or set where there is none, in the grid. Type the number and press Enter; Escape abandons, and an empty box clears the goal. A hand-typed goal is never overwritten when you set goals again.
Good to know
- Setting goals fills only the empty months, at every location.
- The Company row cannot be typed into: it is always the sum of the locations.
- A location with fewer than three closed months is skipped, and the message says why.
- Pace against the plan shows how the plan becomes a daily number.
